Q. Is this a paid internship?

A. It is a paid internship. You will receive a stipend.

 

Q. What does the day-to-day work look like?

A. Day-to-day work will look different at every site. You can expect exposure to multiple areas of ministry and a mixture of work and formation. 

Q. What are the requirements to be an intern?

A. This is an internship for college/grad/seminary students who desire to explore a call to ministry within the context of a local church.

Q. How can my church become a partner?

A. Our church partners for 2019 have already been selected. Applications for 2020 church partnerships will open in September.

Q. is this associated with any denomination?

A. The Church Leadership Co-operative began within the United Methodist Church through a generous grant provided by the Young Clergy Initiative, an initiation of the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry. All of our church partners at this time are United Methodist Churches. Anyone can participate. You can participate regardless of your denominational background! In the past, we’ve had Methodist, Baptists, Presbyterian, former Catholic, and non-denominational interns!
